Fundraising and Volunteer Hour Opportunities!
This is a big shout-out to our Fundraising Guru, Dennis Aufranc!
Dennis has almost single-handedly assumed responsibility for all KWFC fundraising for several years in a row!
Dennis will be moving on next year when his son does and Dennis could use some help this year!
If you have an interest in putting in your volunteer hours when your child is NOT on the field, working with Dennis is a GREAT opportunity!
He has done all the administrative leg work on how to approach local businesses for significant cash donations.
What he needs is some bodies to venture into some of our untapped towns.
As stated, Dennis could use your help this year...and KWFC could use some folks willing to mentor beneath Dennis so all is work is not lost when he is gone!
He is superior to work with, great on follow-thru and full of tips on how to approach folks successfully!

KWFC Nitty Gritty Details of your Volunteer Hour Opportunities ’09!
Remember, each family needs to complete the following for your child to
receive his GAME
JERSEY!
And, each family only needs to complete the following ONE time,
regardless of how many children you have registered in the program.

These hours will be signed up for at one of the August
Parents Meetings @ a TBA time.

Families who choose not to sign up for any or all hours may ‘Buy
Out’ this opportunity for $20.00 per hour.
2) Each family is to bring
forward a MINIMUM of one donation from an area business to serve
as a prize in our Game Day Raffle

The donation is to
be submitted on the attached form which is to be filled out by an
employee.

The is to have a
minimum $20.00 value.
Ex. $20.00 Gas Card from Mobile or $35.00 Gift Cert to a local
stored/restaurant

THE COMPLETED
FORM/DONATION IS DUE TO YOUR TEAM PARENT AUGUST 19TH.

Families who choose not to participate in bringing forward a
donation may ‘Buy Out’ this opportunity for $20.00.
3) Each family is to sell a
MINIMUM of 5 Rafflle Tickets.

Athletes will receive
their tickets during the first week of camp.
o
Each ticket will sell
for $5.00 each or 5 tickets for $20.00.
o
Money from the
Raffle Sale is due to the Team Parent from
Varsity &
JV August 19th.
o
Money from the
Raffle Sale is due to the Team Parent from
Midgets &
JR Midgets
on August 25th.

You are to be commended
for a SUPERIOR job during registration! We have record breaking numbers
of paid registrations in, equipment issued and physicals on file! YEAH
YOU!!!

Reminder that
Physicals are due the first day of camp for your athlete, BUT if
you want to beat the crowds… send it into KWFC, PO 392, Warner NH 03278.

Behind the
scenes we are organizing opportunities for your Volunteer Hours!
As you know, we will NOT be
hosting either Jamboree this year. This impacts us in two ways.
v We have LESS ON THE FIELD work to do.
v We lose a good deal of income, which the program needs.
Hence, we’re going to
spread the love of fundraising by adjusting the Volunteer Commitment.
Your 5 hours (per
family) of on the field volunteer hours are being adjusted as follows:

hours of On the Field Volunteerism per family (to be signed up for @ an
August Parents Mtg ~ w/ time TBA.)
ü
At
least 1 donation from a business to be used in our GAME DAY RAFFLE, due
to your Team Parent August 18.
ü
Selling of 5 Game Day Raffle Tickets, which will raffle the donations
you bring forward.
As always, EACH of the Three ON THE FIELD volunteer hour can be
‘Bought-Out’ for $20.00.
The business donation can also be bought out for $20.00.
Raffles Tickets will be $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. Soooo, if you don’t
want to sell them, you can also buy this out for $20.00 as one of your
‘5 hours’.
While the program
loves the spirit of hands on game day fun, we also recognize the
necessity for some families to Buy Out this time. Thus, though we’ve
made adjustments, a family can still Buy Out their participation for a
total of $100.00….same as previous years! Cool, huh? But if you don’t
need to…join the fun! I am pretty sure you’ll get back more than you
give! And the kids love to see us working on their behalf!
